Coll Gordon is a partner at McKimm & Lott and has been practicing with the firm since his call to the Bar in 2006.
Coll’s practice focuses on helping clients involved in litigation of all types, including employment, construction and contractual disputes and family and estate matters.
Coll has successfully represented clients in trials, appeals and hearings throughout the province at every level of court and in front of various administrative tribunals including the BC Human Rights Tribunal, Employment Standards Tribunal and the Agricultural Land Commission.
Coll strives to bring a practical perspective to his client’s issues, with a focus on economical and proportionate solutions. Depending on the situation, Coll will assist clients with negotiation, mediation, arbitration and litigation as appropriate. The goal is always to secure a satisfactory conclusion as efficiently as possible.
Coll has a background in outdoor adventure tourism. Before beginning a career in law, he traveled the world working as a river rafting guide and white water kayak instructor. Coll and his family now enjoy many of the outdoor pursuits that Vancouver Island is famous for, especially paddle boarding and kayaking. Coll still competes in at least a few paddling races every season.
Coll is a past director of the Saanich Peninsula Chamber of Commerce. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association civil litigation, wills and estates and family law sections and a member of the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia.
