Nola M. Silzer
Nola is a senior family law practitioner with over 20 years experience in negotiation, litigation, mediation, and collaborative practices. While one of Nola’s greatest satisfactions is to help clients resolve their separation and divorce issues by negotiating their own fair agreements, in each case, she carefully assesses the situation to determine which family law process would be best. She is professional and practical, calm and compassionate.
Nola is an active member of the Victoria Collaborative Practices Group and the Family Section of the Canadian Bar Association. Prior to joining McKimm & Lott in 2003, she was legal counsel with the Family Maintenance Enforcement Program for nine years. Her mediation training and certification is from the B.C. Justice Institute, enhanced by annual Continuing Legal Education courses.
